Here are several photos of P5 2572. The first was taken in 1930, the second in 1936 and the third is undated. These photos are from the BRHS Flickr Photo Album on their website. The large generator located on top of the boiler in the second two photos indicates that it was assigned to suburban commuter service, although, by 1936, pacifics had replaced most of the ten wheelers and P class Atlantics in Chicago commuter service.
I am not aware of a Q P class Atlantic being offered in any model scale. In HO, a starting point might be the old Roundhouse/MDC Atlantic. It was based on a Santa Fe Atlantic and would take a lot of work to rebuild into a Q model, but it may be the only choice. Roundhouse is now owned by another model company and some of their products are still available.
