Peter-
The G1s were built as such and AFAIK no model of this class has ever been done in brass and certainly not in a production model.
The E1 0-4-0 was made in a diecast RTR version back in the 1960s by New One in Japan and they appear on eBay regularly. There were a couple of brass 0-6-0s made of different prototypes but not close enough to the G1 to warrant buying one IMHO (different wheel spacing and size, cab and tender, etc.).
I’ve attached a diagram book page for the G1 for reference in case you want to find a model which is “close enough” for you, even to make a “for now” model until something more accurate comes along.

Subject: [CBQ] Is There a G1 060 Switcher Engine HO Model
I am interested in buying a G1 060 Switcher Engine in HO Scale. Is anyone familiar with an HO model of this engine? I want yo build a scale model replica of my Great-Grandfathers CB&Q 1307.
