MIcroscale Liquid Decal Film is the name I was trying to recall for applying to old decals.

Yea, I thought of that after my mishap. Can't recall off-hand the name of the decal film solution that is used for that.
It’s helpful to brush old Microscale decals with their liquid decal film before using. This prevents the old film from shattering. Thanks! Brian Ehni (Sent from my iPhone)
I've got both sets. Tell me your preference and your address and I'll get them in the mail.

Subject: [CBQ] E5 Decals Wanted
I am wanting to decal an HO scale E5B unit as 9912B Silver Comet. Per the recent BB on E5s, it is the one E5B that remained with CB&Q as opposed to units for C&S or FW&D.
I have an old set of Microscale decals for E units, but when I went to apply the decal for "COMET", it disintegrated when trying to slide it off the backing sheet (apparently soaked it too long), and there is only one pair of "COMET" decals in the set. So, I am wondering if anyone has a pair of "SILVER COMET" decals from
MIcroscale #87-581
or just "COMET" from old set 87-98 (so it matches the size of "SILVER" on the old set that then included E5 decals) that I can buy from them (or trade other names/lettering/numbers from the decal sheet). I'll gladly pay for the postage for mailing them as well. I hate to buy a whole new set of decals just to get one name off the sheet!
Thanks for the help.
