Tom - Your dad's photo shows CB&Q Class T-2 No. 4101 at the Denver, CO, Shops on November 25, 1948.  The 2-6-6-2 was retired in August 1950. I or others in this Group might be able to help you ID the other photos you have.  Best Regards - Louis

My father was a clerk for the CB&Q.  He left me some 3x5 pictures of Q steam engines.  None of the pictures have any information on them; none show date or location.   I have scanned and attached one of them, a picture of 2-6-6-2 number 4101, in case anyone is interested.
