Dave - Assuming you're a member of the Burlington Route Historical Society, go to the website and enter the Member's Section, then access the portal to the Flickr site that holds nearly 17,000 images of CB&Q/C&S/FW&D subjects with more being added every week. Most of the images, if not all, you saw in the old Yahoo Group are in the Flickr site including Hol's period shots and other early images dating back into the 1860s, all now a part of the extended BRHS Collection. This is a marvelous benefit to being a BRHS member, particularly if you're doing research.  If you're not yet a member, I highly recommend you join BRHS at your earliest opportunity. that formally (and formerly) managed to survive the process under Yah** but are now non-existent on this group?
I seem to recall that attachments were allowed even over there and many pics were stored. In fact I'd call the Photos section a desert now.

Lately I've been researching a lot of Q info and going back to the earliest postings- noting from posts that none of the valuable stuff- like Hol Wagners period shots exist any more.

And is the group not managing Files either- so many (that are images or document type) are corrupted name holders and nothing else- the '64b (bytes) gives it away. Those of historical value should be restored to full access use. I'm not referring to 'models of' or 'for sale' items etc.
