I am planning a trip to the Illinois Railway Museum sometime this summer.  What would be a good time to visit?  I am interested in Burlington equipment, most particular the Diesels.  I also want to find interesting Model Railroad shops in the area.  I am also considering a trip to Chicago to see the Zephyr at the museum of Science and Industry but I am not sure I want to deal with the traffic and parking.
