Follow up request for this project. Does anyone have high quality pictures of the LO-1 (87000-87099), LO-1A (87100-87199) or LO-2 (87200-87251) series Airslides that I can use to have the decals produced? Please contact me off list, I am will to pay for use.

Rick,
"Railroad Roman" is a generic term for that kind of lettering. Each railroad and shop had their own variation. What the people in the decal business do is get a good side and end view and then do a vector trace
of the lettering in Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw. Vector graphics eliminate the "jaggies" that bitmap graphics have and be scaled up. There are a few lurkers in this group who do their own decals, so hopefully they'll contact you about the what and hows
of doing this.

I am attempting to make some decals for the original order of Airlsides. Is there a specific type of Railroad Roman font for the reporting marks and data?
