What is neat is the Spring Street Viaduct in the back ground of the Old Depot. Often this was the only safe way to cross the main lines thru town. One reason the elevation was put thru town was the lack of front wheel brakes on early autos and the tracks being right at the bottom of the hills and only Manpowered crossing warnings. One prominent business man wound up impaled on the side rods of a locomotive in his auto. Thanks Bill for posting them Steve in SC
