Louis....It's a 3" bell, Lunkenheimer that Bob had in a display case at the CRRM. He had two or three of them, and if he told me, or knew where they came from I don't remember. I 'stepped' the top by cutting down the outer tube. It was no big deal at the time, there were lots of them around, and it wasn't an 'historical artifact' I figured that, since it was going on a 15" gauge engine, it would cut down on the bulk of the whistle, and I liked it that way. I 'wintered' in Denver during The Dells' 'off season' from Jan., '65 to May, '68, so I bought it towards the end of that period. I was on that 1960 trip at Aurora, I'm probably milling around there someplace. It was my first fan trip. Someplace, I've got a big package full of the Black & White pictures I took.
