Recently there was a mention of an R. Moore who was a fireman from sometime in the 40's until 1955. I know Ray and see him every other week at the Fox Valley Breakfast Club breakfasts that we are both members of. In WWII Ray was a tail gunner on B17 heavy bombers. He flew 28 missions over Germany. The normal amount of missions was 25 before being rotated. Most crew members never made it to 25. Ray then became an engineer in 1955 until retirement. He is now in his 90's. He is a fantastic guy with a great sense of humor.
