Here's a real gem. Go to eBay item 392090238747 for a look at a pure Q train
headed east after setting out at Eola in 1970 ! But here's the part that should
generate some conversation. Clearly this is a through freight given the big
power, but after setting out in the east yard at Eola it's down to one Q box
car and a waycar !
For all you on the list who have "been there and done that", how could this
train operate to CICERO with one car ? Eola didn't have a nice "package" for
them to take to Cicero !?
Yes maybe there's a p/u at Nabisco to take to "the park".
My experienced guess is this is a "snuffy " crew that's needed in Cicero upon
their rest. Look close and notemthe brakeman and fireman on the left side of
the cab.
I'll bet Louis father would have had a thing or two to say about this move if
he had been on the property.
