Could be on the Mendota-Denrock line given light rail, minimal elevation,etc. location of grain elevator makes me think it's Walnut but not 100% sure.
Leo Phillipp I wasn't around in those years but these photos reminded me of a slide I have of CB&Q 1291 'St. Nicholas Mountain', the observation car the Q contributed to the Empire Builder. It's possibly on one of those excursion trips but I have never been able to figure out the date or location of the photo. Anyone here who can help? Photo attached.
