Good luck on your search. As a kid I looked out of those windows many times but of course have no idea what the top of the platform covers looked like. If you have not checked out the Portal to Texas History that I mentioned, it might turn something up. I think that they do have a shot of the yard looking north that may be at a high enough angle to see some of what you are looking for. There doesn't seem to be anything taken looking out a window of people on the platforms and or trains in the station, which would be very useful. I suspect that the operator might have had something like this, but whether any of that still exists today is highly unlikely, unless it ended up in a private collection somewhere, and that may never see the light of day, unless a family member donates the material and that material is cataloged.
