It was converted to passenger-baggage combine #3666 in July 1953, and ended up as a building in Denver in October 1963. What happened to it between May 1952 and July 1953? (Not much?)

It's partially stripped, sitting on the deadline at Lincoln awaiting scrapping or conversion into an unmotorized combine (I'd have to check the roster to say which). The photo dates to May 1952, and below is another
