Here's another pic obviously taken a moment after the first.  Magnifying the shot, it appears the air brake MU hoses are connected.  If the unit was being shipped for trade-in, most likely (but not certainly) it would be set up for dead, and only the brake pipe hose would need to be connected.

It show SSW (Cotton Belt) F7A 969 trailing CB&Q GP20 927 and CB&Q GP35 982 on a train heading west at Eola, IL. Is there any way of knowing what train this might be? Headed to Galesburg or Savanna?

 

Any other info on SSW 969 would be appreciated as well - was it on a short-term lease to the CB&Q in 1966?
