On April 1, 2016 and May 31, 2017 I posted some photos of Villisca to the group. The photos were taken by Pete Hedgepeth in the early 50s, when as a teenager, he visited Villisca with a friend. You can find those photos in the group photo section or the group attachment folder.

Dan I have pdf copies of the Sanborn maps for Villisca, which I can send you. There are none for Nodaway, as the town was to small to map.

Hello all!

I'm looking for info (track plans, industries, photos) for Villisca and Nodaway from the early 50's. My Grandfather worked for the Q in the 30's and 40's and my mother's side of the family is from the area. Ultimately I would like to model both on a small N scale layout.

I've got some Q memorabilia about my Paternal Grandfather that I'll try to share soon - it's really interesting.

Thanks and looking forward to learning more about the Q!
