Don, check the group attachment folder or the group photo section, back on April 1, 2016 I uploaded a group of 6 photos taken in Villisca in the early 50s by Pete Hedgepeth. I just checked, there are about 10 more, I will upload the rest this evening.

Dan I have pdf copies of the Sanborn maps for Villisca, which I can send you. There are none for Nodaway, as the town was to small to map.

Hello all!

I'm looking for info (track plans, industries, photos) for Villisca and Nodaway from the early 50's. My Grandfather worked for the Q in the 30's and 40's and my mother's side of the family is from the area. Ultimately I would like to model both on a small N scale layout.

I've got some Q memorabilia about my Paternal Grandfather that I'll try to share soon - it's really interesting.

Thanks and looking forward to learning more about the Q!
