if you look thru spoors and olmsteds books you will find only one or two photos of any of these trains with an rpo in the consist. and thats early to mid 50s. after the trains were combined i do not recall seeing working RPOs except 47 and 48.

I have been trying to post a file of the schedule for the Chicago, Savanna & Minneapolis RPO dated June 30, 1967, but Yahoo has not been cooperating.

The Chicago, Savanna & Minneapolis RPO is shown to have run on four trains between Chicago and St. Paul/Minneapolis and three trains returning to Chicago.  To St. Paul and Minneapolis, the trains are 23, 21, 47, and 25.  From the Twin Cites, the trains are 24,48, and 32.  There is a note that there was no Sunday RPO on 47, 24, and 48.  There was no Monday service on 25.

For Trains 25, 24, 47, and 48 a 60 foot RPO is called for.

When I can add a file to the Files section, I will post the schedule.
