I have the book in question, and actually also the Railroad Magazine that had same roster in it. It raises many questions, as it shows totally different dispositions for these than the Extra 2200 South roster from 1970, and neither is very clear on the issue. Note the Railroad Magazine roster shows only a few to GE, while X2200S shows most to GE. Being that the Railroad Magazine roster was done using BN sources, I wonder just how accurate it was on CB&Q era information. Dover's roster probably was from CB&Q sources, but was based mostly on conjecture it would appear. Maybe there are no definitive answers, but it does not hurt to ask...
