Andre,
The only light I have shed on this is based on the book Diesel
Locomotive Rosters reprinted from Railroad Magazine. The rosters
in this book are known to have errors. However for what is worth,
it states that that the Q part was collected from BN east director
of public relations, C&S mechanical superintendent, FW&D
mechanical superintendent, and the SCL assistant vice-president
equipment at the time of the BN merger.
Switchers only:
Sold to EMD (no dates):
Baldwin VO-1000s 9351-9354 9356-9359 9362 9364 9368 and
9373-9378.
The Q also sold the following EMD switchers to EMD (no dates):
SW 9130-9135 and NW1 9200-9201
Scrapped (no dates):
Baldwin VO-1000s 9360 and 9365.
Sold to GE it says in March 1967:
Baldwin VO-1000s 9350 9355 9361 9363 9366-9367 9369-9372 and
9379. Sold to SCL and became numbers 85-95 (the SCL merger was
July 1, 1967).
Also sold to GE at unknown time:
Midwest Locomotive Works 65 ton 9123.

Can anybody shed additional light on what CB&Q Baldwins
were traded in to GE and which to EMD? EMD dats shows 8 traded
for SW1200's 9281-9288 in 1965, 12 for SW1000's 9310-9321 in
1966. 11 more went to GE for U28C's 562-577 in 1966 along with
5 others and were resold to ACL
(9350,9355,9361,9366,9367,9369-9372,9379 per X2200S). X2200S
also has 9354,9356,9358,9359,9362,9368,9373,9377 (8) along
with four EMD switchers to GE in 1965 on U26C's 550-561.
Now here is a problem. Above count is 44. CB&Q only had
30 Baldwins. So obviously we are WAY over. Does anybody have
any better information? Were
9351-9353,9357,9360,9363-9365,9374-9376,9378 the 12 traded on
the SW1000's? In that case, what was traded on the SW1200's?
And is the X2200S listing for the 8 going to GE in 1965 all
wet?
