Group - Thanks to all of you who responded to my query that it was water

When I was hostling in
Alliance, diesel fuel sprays and over-fills like that were quite common. Later
I saw the same thing in Laurel. Amazing what went on before there was an EPA.
A consist came into Alliance and was immediately fueled as normal. As we
finished up the rhse foreman came rushing out and said, "You didn't fuel the
xxx did you?" Of course we had. Turns out it needed a repair or flush of the
fuel tank. So they opened the plug and drained 3000 gallons of diesel into the
dirt.
