When I was hostling in Alliance, diesel fuel sprays and over-fills like that were quite common. Later I saw the same thing in Laurel. Amazing what went on before there was an EPA. A consist came into Alliance and was immediately fueled as normal. As we finished up the rhse foreman came rushing out and said, "You didn't fuel the xxx did you?" Of course we had.
