Thread-topic: [CBQ] Manchester 4-4-0 For The Q [1 Attachment]

The locomotive is CB&Q 120, turned out by Manchester in March 1868.  Below is a clearer copy of the photo and, courtesy of Rupert, a Manchester ad from 10 years later employing the image.

Group - Reference my previous post about the early day Manchester-built 0-4-0 Union that Hol commented at length upon, I'm now inserting/attaching an undated image of a splendid Q 4-4-0 in a builder's photograph taken at the Manchester Locomotive Works, Manchester, NH:

I can't quite read the smoke box number plate, but it might be 124. Perhaps, some one in the Group has better eyes than I do. I've poured over the CB&Q roster in the back of the Corbin Book, but so far can't find a likely locomotive. Perhaps, Hol can ID the 4-4-0 and tell us some history about this beautiful example of an American type locomotive. This 4-4-0 would also make for a wonderful modeling project. Best Regards - Louis
