Hi Stage,

I probably posted two photos of this unit somewhere in this thread about a week ago.  I also posted the pics in my file under bn3022.  I'm glad you brought this up.  My first thought was that it's primary use was burning weeds, but since it was at Galesburg, where I took the photos in 1972, it was probably of a lot more value melting snow and ice in and around switches.

Looks like a flat car (40' )with a small part of a tank mounted on the end and a small hut on the burner end with 3 (maybe 4) ducts

being pushed by a Burro (four wheel not legs)
