Hello Hol, Ted and All - Currently on eBay is a pile of old HO freight cars which includes a silver Burlington hopper. Possibly or probably an old Mantua car from the forties - and the number is right: 190854. Listing is 222336788864 PAW On Friday, December 9, 2016 11:20 AM, "Hol Wagner holpennywagner@msn.com [CBQ]" <CBQ@yahoogroups.com> wrote: I think Ted is right. The ebay seller is from Des Moines and has a large number of what appear to be 8x10s from a newspaper photographer. The vast majority are from the Des Moines area, though a few are from outlying areas. Quite a few have railroad interest
-- wrecks, new locomotives and such -- and I would assume the aluminum-sided hopper car full of coal, with a gentleman in overcoat standing in the rain to look at it, was unusual enough that it warranted a photo for the local paper. Thanks, Ted, for suggesting
the location and Louis, for pointing out the seller's other photos.
Hol

Ted - I agree. Over the past few months, there's been a series of 8x10 newspaper photographs marked "Watermark" being sold on EBay that all originated from Des Moines. I believe the Q aluminum side hopper image is one from that same series. Merry Christmas -
Louis
