That Orton ad was run shortly after the Q purchased a big steam-powered, oil-fired bridge derrick from the company, numbered 204620. But the derrick in the photo is not the one bought by the Q; it is a somewhat earlier model with the name BURLINGTON hand-lettered in. Attached are two views of Q 204620, taken in 1964 and 1971. It was always based at Lincoln, that being a central location on the system, and as the biggest bridge derrick owned by the railroad, it was used system-wide.

There a 1949 advert on eBay for Orton Crane & Shovel Co. item 232102276185 showing a large 6-axle rail crane with “Burlington” on the side in block sans serif letters, similar to the lettering used on BREX cars in the early 60’s, but showing no road numbers or initials.
Did the Burlington have any/many of these cranes?
