The 9908 was the single Q unit that made me a die hard Q fan. When I was in my 2nd grade classroom, 1965-1966, our classroom windows over looked the Q mainline in St Paul Park Minnesota (Twin Cities/Chicago mainline) and I got to see the 9908 pulling a work train several times while in class. The teacher had to get my attention many a times as I stared out the window at the trains. The Shovelnoses were awesome and the follow on E units were great. Tom Johnson
