I was with Steve Holding yesterday and we compared notes and belief the concrete pad

North of the elevator was for a hay or wool barn that was there back in the day. The stock pens,ramps and platforms were all wood. There were brick walks or runways.

Quick question about the sheep yard in Montgomery...  Were the loading ramps wooden,like the stereotypical stock pen ramps or were they a concrete platform?  The reason I ask is that there is a concrete platform north of the elevator and I'm wondering what it's purpose was.
