Ahhhh Hol and guys...Weldon is not...but it WAS on the...actually on the Humeston and Shenandoah..located between Leroy and Van Wert. According to Corbin's ACROSS IOWA it was "just a wide spot on a lonely country road"....See page 89 of "ACROSS IOWA...." Pete

Hi All,
The attached image is identified as being taken in Osceola, Iowa, however, from my recollections, the George Hall Grain elevator doesn't ring a bell and from the curvature of the track
in the distance the train would have had to have been westbound, but there is no elevator on the east side of Osceola.
Does anyone recognize this as being somewhere else?
