[CBQ] FW: Antique 1 6 Plate Tintype Photo CB Q Railroad RR Train Engine Locomotive | eBay

What is perhaps the oldest CB&Q image is again listed on eBay.   
It is not possible to make out a number or if there is a name on the cab
panel.   It doesn't easily match any of the engines in the 1857 roster in
Corbin's Book.   
Guessing it is a wood-burner and it has outside inclined cylinders.   The
boiler is very small diameter and the whole rig looks old even at the time
of the photo.
It looks like the cab has the rounded front corner with curved glass windows
like the Lonsdale.
The engine appears to be involved in construction work; it is coupled to a
steam derrick or pile driver of some sort which appears to be under steam.
The piles of very rough cut timbers (ties??) in the foreground obscures the
drivers and tender trucks.
If anyone is bidding on this we would all appreciate any further information
that can be gleaned from the actual tintype.
