Group - Here's graphic evidence (inserted and attached) of what happened when gasoline-fueled motor car No. 9666 rear-ended a stopped freight train at Pottstown, IL, on August 3, 1932:

The charred wreckage of the demolished way car at right is sitting atop the motor car's front truck. The motor car was still smoldering as workmen inspected the wreckage. The ICC Accident Investigation follows:
