Apologies if this has already come up on the list, but I searched
"Durham" and didn't find it.
The Durham Museum in Omaha has started putting scans of its photo
collections online.
A direct link to their search engine is
http://durhammuseum.contentdm.oclc.org/
A search on "Burlington" will bring up most everything CB&Q related.
A search on "9121" will bring up two photos of that early diesel
switcher, one a glorious view with all the hood-side access doors
open.
Some very nice views of the Pioneer Zephyr, and a (to me) priceless
aerial view of Wahoo NE showing the "iron triangle" crossing of the
Q, the UP and the C&NW just south of town and the Q depot (now part
of the Saunders County Historical Society).
The Durham collection uses the same OCLC software used by the Denver
Public Library, so you can use the same trick to display the
full-size, full resolution versions of the scans.
