I do know what the Q had for steam power and every Q modeler should have in their possession "Steam Locomotives of the Burlington Route" by Bernard Corbin.   A J3 is in no way better looking than a CB&Q S4 class Hudson.

Leaving aside the obvious comment or “It’s your empire – you can do what you want”, how many non-Q modellers know what the Burlington had and didn’t have when it comes to steam power. Or, for that matter, how many Q modellers on this list knew that the Burlington didn’t have a 2-8-4 until you raised the issue?
