Thanks for this. Looking on YouTube, I’ve found some “Prairie Rails”
clips but they all appear to be modern.
If Steve can identify the date of transmission, perhaps the TV company can
supply details of the actual video. There has been mention in the past of the experimental
paint schemes and I can’t remember any photos of the experiment, so the
video would appear to be of particular interest.

Rupert, RFD TV is a cable TV channel http://www.rfdtv.com/
based in Nebraska and carried on many rural cable systems across the US,
particularly the small independent systems. I have never found it in the cities
or on the major cable systems. It’s primary focus is US agriculture,
ranch and farm reports and western or rural lifestyle. But the owner is also a
train buff. So he runs train videos at specific times during the week. All I
have ever seen were commercial products available from Green Frog, Pentrax,
Cateneary and other producers of train videos/DVDs. I don’t think RFD
produces their own.
“Prairie Rails” is the title of a Video/DVD that was
produced by Rail Innovations and now offered by Greg Scholl videos http://www.gregschollvideo.com/dvd.html
