I think you'll find that the motorcar trailer conversions were used nearly all of the time.  I worked Lincoln-Wymore locals summer 56-57-58 and the motorcar converts were all I ever saw.  Wymore Story has a good photo of a one car Concordia local ready to leave Wymore with a motorcar trailer.  Probabably mid 50's.    Sorry I can't provide a car number...I was not a "number taker" in those days or even now.

If Richard Kistler is on here he should be able to provide exact info.

Pete

Subject: [CBQ] Passenger Cars used on Concordia Mixed?

I'm curious if anyone here might be able to share any information on what type of passenger car, or cars, would have been used on the Concordia Branch mixed trains?  I'm interested in the steam era, say from the 1930's through to the end of steam in the 1950's.  The few late steam era photos I've seen that "almost" show the car on the end of the train appear to show a converted motor car or trailer type car, but I was wondering if heavyweight combines or other cars were also used during this period?  If so, any information like car numbers or more about the types used would be appreciated - thanks!
