 Richard Steinheimer died in 2011.  His widow, Shirley Burman lives here in Sacramento.

Is that photo of the Ft. Madison-Bloomfield, IA trip on August 6th 1955.  If so that's the 637.   I was on that trip along with the late Charlie Able and, IIRC Phil Weibler....unknown to me at that time was along as well.

Going through some old TRAIN mags that I need to dump, too many of 'em. I came across a photo on page 6 of the July 1970 issue that shows a Q steam engine, appears to be a 2-6-2, on an Iowa branch.

It's a great photo, one that I would like to see enlarged as there is a lot of nice detail in the scene.

Does anyone know of Richard Steinheimer and has his photos ever been released for publication?
