Regarding OH Bridge 26.07, there is no bridge drawing left of this bridge that I could find in the BNSF bridge files, but there was an informational sheet that gave a brief description of the 3 latest bridges at the location. Specifics of the spans were not described, only the lengths.
Prior to 1913, there were only two tracks at the location. The bridge had span lengths from the South that were 14', 13', 32' over the two tracks, 16' and 14.5'. The two tracks were current Main 1 and current Main 2. The construction date of this bridge was not noted, and it was replaced in 1913-14 to accommodate construction of the 3rd main.
From 1913-14 until 1930, there were three main tracks. The main track added in 1913-14 was the removed main north of current Main 1. The span lengths from the South were 19', 16', 47' over the tracks, 16' and 16'. This bridge was replaced in 1929-30 to accommodate construction of the 4th main.
The 4th main (current Main 3) was constructed on the south side of the other 3 mains. The span lengths from the South were 16', 16', 62' over the tracks, 14', 14' and 14'.
The informational sheet described the road as Essex Avenue, Lisle.
