Well as Archimedes said when he discovered the method to correctly calculate the buoyancy of a body partially submerged in water....EUREKA...no he didn't know about the locomotive of that name....but it expressed his excitement and amazement.
Well that's what I felt when I opened an old file labeled "railroad lore" and "low and behold" there were the photos depicting the above subject.
Since Hol already posted one of the photos which was the one of the running gear pulled back to Edgemont which had been made into a postcard...there is another one which appears from my photo that it was just a photo of the boiler which had been "tossed" far from the track.
I now have both and can arrange to post if anyone would like me to.
I'll do it for as few as ONE if that's all who want it...If I receive no requests I'll just get them back into my own archives.
