Those "Burlington Boys" must have been a rather modest bunch. The toilet on a E8 was located in the right rear corner of the boiler room, which was separated from the hinged sash painted over porthole in the engine room by 13 feet and a bulkhead with two doors. The terms and layout all come from my EMD Enginemen's Operating Manual E8. It would have taken a real determined "Peepin' Tom" to see anything. <Grin>  Regards...Jerry Albin
