578 could be at Lincoln. In 1954 when I started at the University of Nebraska there were several steam swichers still working in the freight yard..I don't recall ever seeing one in the depot, but it may have happened...I think the 565 was working in the yard..I may even have a photo of it there. Group - Continuing, attached is an image of Class G-10 No. 578 shown in an undated view at an unidentified depot. I wonder if the G-10 locomotives were favored for this type of assignment?
