Looking in my e-mail notes, I found an undated and unattributed quote

A while back there was a question about Q engines leased to the SP during WWII. While searching for something else I found a picture at:

scroll down to item 349 "1955, 1907, 2974 Leased to Southern Pacific"

The link no longer works but searching on “lib.1FC.edu” takes you to Lake Forest College http://www.lakeforest.edu/library/ and access to archives, special collections and digital collections. I’m unable to pursue this today but if someone wants to explore and post their findings ………………………
