The issue with not seeing or receiving the photos may have nothing to do with your computer or you preferred email software. If you get the Digest Version you will not get attachments or imbedded images. Yahoo does not allow attachments in the Digest versions, probably because of file size limits. TO REPEAT, if you get the Digest Version you will not get or see the photos, and it does not matter what kind of computer or software you use.
I know this because I get the digest version of some groups and for those that permit attachments, I do not get the attachments. Attachments only show up in individual emails.
I do not have an explanation for those who are attempting to view the photos on line and cannot see them. Could vary likely be your security software or settings not playing well with Yahoo.
