I've compiled a listing (attached) from assignment sheets of all the C&S (and a scant few FW&D) steam locomotives leased to the Q between 1928 and 1950. I'm scanning photos of the various types on the Q, when I have them, and I'll begin posting them here, starting with the Ten-Wheelers. I'll do as Louis has been doing and send them both as attachments and embedded in the message, but it will take a good many messages to get them all through without surpassing Yahoo's 10MB limit.

C&S class C-3H Ten-Wheeler 323 rests beside the Deadwood set-out Pullman at Edgemont, South Dakota, during 1932. When the Q began using all-steel coaches on trains 141-142 between Edgemont and Deadwood, the train became a little heavy for the K-2 and K-10 Ten-Wheelers previously used -- especially in the summer months when the heavyweight Pullman was added to the consist. So a pair of heavier C&S 4-6-0s were leased in the summer of 1929 -- the 323 and 331 Except for a short period in 1933, the 323 would remain on the run until replaced by the 330 in the latter part of 1934.
