Gene

Having sent the earlier message about the Archives, I’ve now found this one from you. How can I contact Jim to get a copy?

Rupert

Rupert,

There is a drawing of a camelback in the Landegran drawings in the archive. They haven’t been cataloged yet but should be able to obtain copies from Singer. Info on drawing:

CLASS D LOCO WITH WOOTEN FIREBOX

Does anyone recollect seeing any photos, drawings or plans of Burlington camelback / Mother Hubbard / center cab locos?

Charlie Vlk and I (with Hol’s assistance) are trying to unravel the mystery of locos 397 and 398 that were built by Baldwin in 1881 and which, because of their construction with the very wide Wootten firebox, would have been built with the cab over the boiler rather than behind it. We’d love to see a photo or drawing or anything about them.

Thanks
