RE: [CBQ] Strange Train Order

I consulted with a friend who collects train orders and he confirmed he had seen orders written with A, B, C, designations on other roads, but not on the Q. Made me wonder if the dispatcher was a transfer from another road who had not yet learned by the CBQ’s preferred terminology. But now Glen confirms this was proper terminology at the time the order was written. Another interesting little fact of history.
