Anyway, there is a photo on ebay (291261572439) of Mike 4955 what I think is at Aurora. Now I know that the Q used several different Hudson's and Northern's for excursion. And that a 4-6-0 and of course 6315 2-10-4 were also used. However, other than 4960, I did not know that another 2-8-2 was used for excursions. Can anyone tell me more about that event with 4955? Was that engine used for other excursions? Were there any other Mike's used for excursion services? For conversation purposes, I look at steam excursion in the "modern" era, 1950 on, diesels were taking a grip hold on the railroads and steam was on the way out.
