I have CB&Q SD7 300 from this early run, and it has a number of problems. The gray paint is too light (must be masked and repainted using ModelFlex CB&Q Gray), the gears are prone to cracking and must be replaced with Athearn gears, and the model has the headlights/taillights in the wrong location on the short and long nose and does not have the correct raised light housings on the long and short nose, and the molded grabs have to be replaced because they are grossly oversized. I know all this because I bought #300 with DCC/Sound and had to completely rework it to make it resemble the prototype.
All that being said, I’ll buy your model for $40 postpaid to my mailing address in Iowa, i.e. I send you a check for $40 and you send me the model. Let me know if we have a deal.
