I just rode the train from Denver to Chicago.  I can tell you that it did back into DUS (and picked up a third sleeper in the process), but I can't tell you much more, other than we pulled straight out of the station and headed east.  So any wyeing was done prior to the back in move.

Prior to the current DUS renovation, Amtrak's CZ followed the original CZ's access procedure in that the wyeing of the train was done on the Burlington side of the route. This meant that the westbound train backed into the station whereas the eastbound pulled forward into it. This meant that only the North Yard to DUS and North Yard to Burlington Yard legs of the wye were used by the train. However, in a few recent youtube videos recorded after the reopening of the station that I have seen, the eastbound is now also backing into the station. Does this mean that the CZ is now using the DUS to Burlington Yard leg of the wye? Have there been any significant changes to the track arrangement in the Burlington Yard?
