researchers. The results of Richard’s
work will be a part of model railroading for decades to come. Richard was principally a freight car
consultant, but his interests extended well beyond that. He knew who was doing
what in the prototype modeling field, and where the resources were. His vast
knowledge and willingness to share will be sorely missed. My condolences and best wishes to
Sandra and his family.
