My file is all tabulated data.  Where, who built when or came from where with
dates.  Often they were recycled.
I know what you mean by Lassig uses I think there may still be a Bld Plate on
the Indian Creek bridge in the Hill Yard at Aurora.  Or use to be anyway just
never got to it to shot it.
Try SMU sometimes it is a pain but well worth it.  I just to volunteer there
till other things came up.  Looks like I will be at the Southwest O Scale meet
in Ft. Worth in Oct

This started out as wanting to build a model railroad... That will
come eventually, but the research/learning has taken on a life of its
own. To coin a phrase, "I'm loving it".

Were Lines East and Lines West that different from a permanent way
standpoint? I've even been looking at some Northern Pacific standard
drawings that have been posted, on the theory that there must have
been some commonality since after 190? NP, GN and the Q were under
common ownership.

Do your turntable booklets have drawings, or are they just tabulated
data?

I had thought that the Q would favor Lassig (later American Bridge)
for turntables because they sure used them for bridges, but the
surviving turntable in Burwell NE doesn't look anything like a
Lassig. I'm trying to find someone locally (there) to take detailed
photos, including determining if there is a builder's plate,
otherwise it's an 11+ hour drive each way...

Now that I only live 30 +/- miles from SMU, I really should attempt
to make contact with them one of these days...
